  • The Australian Crown (5 Shilling) coins were only minted in 1937and 1938
  • 1937 Cown had a mintage of 1,008,000 while the 1938 mintage is low at 101,600
  • The crown received a poor reception from the general public, who felt it was simply too bulky for practical everyday use. Minting continued into 1938, but was halted just some months into the new year
  • Both coins present really well and are in EF Grade
  • Stored in LIghthouse Quadrum capsules and displayed in a Lighthouse Volterra timber display case.
