On November 20th, 1947, Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh were married at Westminster Abbey in London. 60 years later, for the wedding anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, the Royal Australian Mint struck this Uncirculated 50c coin to celebrate their long lasting commitiment to each other.
