The Royal Australian Mint in 2013 launched a purple-striped two dollar coin to mark the Queen's 60th anniversary of her coronation.

The coin features three regal purple concentric stripes bordering St Edward's Crown and is the second coloured coin the mint has created.

One million of the coins, designed by the Royal Australian Mint after extensive consultation with Buckingham Palace, were put into Circulation
