Based on photos chosen from the Australian War Memorial archive, the ANZAC Official Coin Collection will include fourteen coins that have been designed and produced by the Royal Australian Mint to recognise the Anzac Centenary, each coin explores different military honours (both Imperial and Australian), awarded to Australians throughout the past 100 years.

The themes featured in this collection include Victoria Cross, George Cross, Distinguished Flying Cross, Medal for Gallantry, Australian Operational Service Medal, Australian Active Service Medal, 1939-1945 Star, Nursing Service Cross, Victory Medal, Distinguished Service Medal, Distinguished Service Cross, Military Cross, Australian Defense Medal, Star of Gallantry.

The collection acknowledges the men and women who served our country and honours their gallant, distinguished and/or conduct and service.
